Assistant Editor & Sound Editor - Feature Film
Chase the Sun is a coast-to-coast cycling challenge focused on exploring the land rather than speed. Itβs featured in BAFTA-winning director Michael B. Cliffordβs documentary, which goes beyond the event itself. The film includes insights from Tour de France commentator Ned Boulting and cyclist Jools Walker, along with a visit to artist Richard Long, known for his zigzag paintings on Box Hill during the 2012 Olympics. Throughout the film, we meet various riders and cycling enthusiasts, all united in their vision for a better, kinder world through their love for cycling.
I was brought in during the post-production process of this film to assist with the final delivery. I was specifically recruited for my fast sequence-building skills, VFX expertise, and post-audio abilities.
I helped create 30 animated maps for the film, performed multiple shot replacements and removals, and delivered the full post-audio mix. Additionally, I played a critical role in constructing key sequences of the film alongside the rest of the editing team.
